The project “The GCC-German Future Dialogue: Opportunities for Enhanced Cooperation in AI, Tech, and Security” enhances cooperation between Germany and the Arab Gulf states in future technologies such as Artificial Intelligence (AI), quantum technologies, and biotech. The focus lies on Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates (UAE), and Qatar. Its objective is to establish a trusted dialogue between stakeholders from politics, business, research, and technology development in order to foster joint innovation, dialogue, and research projects. At the same time, the initiative addresses issues of global regulation, security, and geoeconomics. By building new networks and dialogue platforms, the project aims to strengthen Germany’s strategic positioning in the Gulf region and enable long-term cooperation in technology, energy, security, and crisis prevention. The project is supported by the German Federal Foreign Office.
